DSDs can be exported and imported from within fData, enabling users to share them between servers.

 

To import a DSD, click the Import button on the Main ribbon, then using the Windows File Explorer dialogue that appears select the DSD file that have been provided to you. This will usually take the form of a file called <DSDId>.xml.

 

Once selected, a confirmation dialogue will appear showing the identity of the DSD to import. If a DSD already exists with the same identity as the one being imported it will be overwritten, however you may change the Id at this point if you wish.

 

Once the DSD has been imported, it will be loaded and the DSD Hub and DSD ribbon will appear.
