Data is gathered from a database using a SQL query from the SQL Library Manager. The user in fData is able to select a connection, then select from a list of queries in the SQL library.

Select the source from the list of database connections registered in fAdmin.

The query may then be select from the drop down list below. Upon selecting a query further information about it may be shown within the information panel underneath, including any placeholders that are expected. These placeholders should be set up as user entries, using the Placeholders section of the data group manager or within Global Placeholders if they do not already exist.
